Original as her origins, born in Congo DRC from aPortuguese father and a Belgian mother, Cia Dm spent most of her life in the city of Lubumbashi.
Eclectic as her music influenced by the 70s, Cia Dm is rooted in pop culture color of the world. Touching as her story and her life in Africa, we can see through her passion, twists and yellings, Cia Dm is a wild spirit, free and genuine.

Trained musician, she plays the piano, the violon but she chooses the guitar to express herself, juggling between French, English and Swahili. Author and composer, but especially women of the world; her album records was made between Brussels, Lubumbashi and Johannesburg.
So naturally she calls her album « EKLEKTIK », With this album she is taking us on a journey through Africa and she’s invited us to « Change the world » with her new single supported by a very unique visual. We dive into a musical adventure

At the tender age of 10, Cia DM enjoys mixing; she started doing so at the time of vinyl records as well as audio tapes! ; for 31 years, she listens, mixes, learns from record decks/tuntables, and she has embarked on music collection; “up to date” remains her big record library; this music labyrinth keeps her focused richly, With the latest remixes, hailing from all walks of life … Trance, Techno, Deep House, Rock, Pop, Soul, Reggae, African Rumba, Lounge, Classical, R & B, Alternative, Funk, Latino, Oriental … Her music collection consists of the “Best Of…”, as she has fun taking ambianceurs and night clubbers across time, dancing, moving, inventing musical mixes of all kinds for dinner dances, aperitifs, including yoga and meditation. Today, thanks to this musical and cultural richness, she stands behind record decks and turntables with acoustic accompaniment, sometimes alone with her guitar and vocals, or accompanied by a saxophonist, a drummer, or a live band.
